1. No cookie by default
This site sets no cookie on your device: no advertising cookie, no tracking cookie, no audience measurement cookie. No consent banner is therefore necessary when you arrive.
There are two exceptions, entirely under your control: the chat window and the videos embedded in some articles, both described below.
2. Cookie-free audience measurement
To understand the overall use of the site, we use an audience measurement solution that is privacy-friendly, cookie-free and anonymised. It creates no persistent identifier, does not track visitors from one site to another and collects no personal data that would make it possible to identify you.
3. Live chat, at your initiative
A chat window, provided by Crisp (Crisp IM SARL, France), lets you contact us directly from the site. As long as you do not open it, no Crisp cookie is set on your device.
If you start a conversation, Crisp sets cookies that are strictly necessary for the chat to work: they allow your conversation to be found again from one page to the next and on a later visit. They are used neither for advertising nor for cross-site tracking. Their use is described in Crisp's cookie policy.
4. YouTube videos, with your agreement
Some of our articles, in particular webinar replays, embed videos hosted on YouTube (Google Ireland Limited).
These videos do not load automatically. Until you have asked for it, your browser establishes no connection with Google: we display only an image hosted on our own servers.
If you click on “Accept and play”:
- the YouTube player loads and the video starts;
- Google receives your IP address and may set cookies on your device, in particular for audience measurement purposes and to remember your playback preferences. Their lifetime is set by Google and may reach several months;
- we use the
youtube-nocookie.comdomain, which restricts the setting of advertising cookies without, however, removing it entirely.
These cookies are set by Google, which is responsible for them. Their use is described in Google's privacy policy.
Your agreement is stored in your browser so that you are not asked again for every video. It is valid only for this device and this browser, and it never triggers the automatic loading of a video: each playback remains a deliberate click on your part.
5. Your preferences
Apart from the chat and YouTube videos, no cookie is set: there is nothing to accept or to refuse.
Your agreement for the videos may be given or withdrawn at any time from the box at the bottom of this page. You may also manage or block cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera).
